Acts in action 2018 Kenya Mission trip

Ephesians 4:15-16, “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Chrsit. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”

On August 1st 2018 Acts In Action sent a team of four to Kenya for a two week mission trip. While in Kenya we spent time in the cities of Naivasha, Gilgil, and Kisii. During our first four days we walked through the village of Gilgil going door to door to meet with the people and pray with them in their homes.  We also had the opportunity to speak in a church on Sunday and also spend time with the pastor's family and the leaders in the church. 

After our time in in Naivasha and Gilgil we traveled five hours west to the town of Kisii. We stayed in Kisii for three full days preaching in various churches and teaching the Body of Christ. On the first day we ministered in a new church which was only 3 months old yet already had fifty members. On day two we held a marriage seminar in which we taught about the true purpose of marriage and how God created it to be. On day three we held a revival service that was open to all area churches and residents. Afterwards we also held a special session to share what God had lead us to share with the pastors and church leaders in the area. 
Finally we returned to the Naivasha and Gilgil area for the final four days of ministry. We over these days we held multiple teaching and training sessions during the day and in the evenings we were blessed to be able to host a Gospel Outreach to the entire Gilgil village. During this time we performed open air preaching and worship and over the three days saw more and more member of the community come and join. It was also a blessing to be able meet many of the children in village and play with them during this time.
